Q: Can a patch take the ATM out of service?
A: We test every patch on every ATM. In the unlikely event that a patch takes an ATM out of service, we can roll back the patch to restore the ATM to service.
Q: How does the Device connect to Encompass?
A: We install a small Windows-based agent on your ATM. The agent communicates Outbound only to the IP address & port specified, or alternatively we can utilize a VPN connection from the branch to our data center.
Q: Where is the data going?
A: DBE has partnered with a best in class data center here in the Midwest to host our system. They are SSAE, PCI-DSS, and Safe Harbor certified.
Q: Do I have access to the system?
A: Yes, there is a standard customer dashboard that will show you the status of your fleet.
Q: Who is managing the system?
A: DBE is the only provider in the Midwest who owns and operates the solution they are providing. This means you will experience the same dedication to customer service you have come to expect from DBE.
